SAI GON CAN GIO RESORT

Sai Gon Can Gio Resort is a state-owned entity under Saigontourist Group. Established in the late 1990s, its history is deeply linked to the post-war restoration of the Can Gio mangrove forests.
In 2000, this area was designated by UNESCO as Vietnam’s first World Biosphere Reserve, creating a strong foundation for tourism integrated with conservation. Based on this milestone, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee officially established the park under Decision No. 4043/QD-UB-CNN. Throughout its development, the park has continuously expanded its offerings and enhanced its autonomy, becoming a premier destination for sustainable eco-tourism in the city.
Today, the Sai Gon Can Gio Resort stands as an iconic landmark of Can Gio, playing a vital role in promoting the image of the mangroves, boosting the local economy, and advancing sustainable eco-tourism development.
