HO CHI MINH CITY TOURISM WEEK

When people think of Ho Chi Minh City, they often picture a friendly, civilized, open, and vibrant city that pulses with life in every breath. A host of fresh and exciting activities are continuously organized to meet the every exploratory and experiential need of visitors from near and far.

Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week unfolds with a range of distinctive activities, including the Opening Ceremony; an exhibition space showcasing images and detailed information on the iconic tourist destinations of Thu Duc City and various districts; Street Show performances; the “Ho Chi Minh City – The City I Love” Photo Contest; as well as other engaging activities such as a double-decker bus parade and a cycling parade along the route: Ho Chi Minh City Post Office – Independence Palace – Ben Thanh Market – Thu Ngu Flagpole – Mong Bridge – Ho Chi Minh Museum.
Throughout the week-long festival, visitors also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in performances featuring traditional musical instruments, don ca tai tu (southern Vietnamese folk music), acoustic, violin, and contemporary dance, combined with traditional folk activities such as painting conical hats, performing and taking photos in traditional costumes, molding tò he figurines, calligraphy, and art balloon performances.
