CU CHI TUNNELS HISTORICAL RELIC SITE

Located approximately 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City center, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a miniature scale of the creative and ever-changing battlefield designed by the soldiers and people of Cu Chi. This landmark stands as a testament to their 30-year long and fierce resistance against invaders to reclaim independence and freedom for the Fatherland.
With its monumental achievements, the Cu Chi Tunnels have entered the history of the Vietnamese people’s heroic struggle as a 20th-century legend and a world-renowned destination. This unique, one-of-a-kind subterranean war wonder features a spider-web-like network of tunnels stretching nearly 250 km underground. It includes interconnected facilities such as trenches, bunkers, combat nests, sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, medical clinics, food storage, water wells, and the famous Hoang Cam smokeless stoves.
